Farsite Communications designed a new system for monitoring status and capacity of industrial waste bins. They needed to house and protect the sensitive electronics to IP66 as well as overcome a number of application problems associated with mounting and installation in a harsh environment.
Farsite approached Bray Plastics (ISO 9001 supplier) to design and produce an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) enclosure that would resolve these issues.
Bray consulted with Farsite on the application and also revealed a number of issues which had not been accounted for previously.
The result was a novel design of enclosure that fulfilled the varying application criteria and gave Farsite a unique selling point.
