Bray Plastics are team of highly experienced engineers (over 150 years combined experience in the industry), specialising in bespoke plastic fabrication. We have been working with a wide variety of customers to help them develop and manufacture their products and custom parts for over 30 years.

As a Bray Team Member you will:-
- Work a 40 hour week 7am till 3pm Monday to Friday
- Be enrolled into our Government Workplace Pension
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

Salary Salary £12.82/hr (approx. £26,000) – £17.26/hr (approx. £35,000) dependent on experience and skillset
Position Overview:-
- Assembling of machined plastic components (PVC, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS)
- Using manual lathe and mill to machine parts in small batch production of 2D and 3D plastic components
- Perform 1st off inspections for production items
- Ensure all orders are manufactured by the required date and to our high standards
- Working from anything from verbal request and sketches to 3D Cad files and full engineering drawings to produce finished parts
- Carry out post-machining finishing ops such as gluing, deburring and polishing
Required Skills:
- Good fabrication ability
- Good assembly handskills
- Good communication skills
- Ability work with minimal supervision and use initiative (after initial training and induction period)
- Eye for detail and pride in work
- Experience of manual lathes & mills
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- The ideal candidate will be an “engineer” with good hand skills, rather than just a machinist.
Desirable Attributes:
- Knowledge of engineering plastics
- Some experience of CNC machines
- Experience of OneCNC software
- Forklift licence
Hours are 39 hours. Monday – Thursday 7am till 3pm and Friday 7am till 2pm.
